Chelsea Stillman, PhD



Chelsea is a second year Postdoctoral Scholar in the Psychiatry Department. She obtained her B.A. in Psychology and Chemistry from Colby College in Waterville, Maine in 2010 and moved to DC shortly after to pursue a PhD. in Psychology (Lifespan Cognitive Neuroscience) at Georgetown University. After defending her dissertation in August of 2015, Chelsea moved to Pittsburgh to begin a postdoctoral fellowship in Pitt’s Brain Aging and Cognitive Health Laboratory. Her research focuses on ways to promote brain and cognitive plasticity through behavioral interventions, including exercise and diet. Chelsea is a barre enthusiast and, in her spare time, enjoys exploring the Pittsburgh fitness scene. Chelsea is excited for the year ahead and is looking forward to her new role as 2017 UPPDA President.
