BGSA Professional Development Talk

The BGSA is hosting a professional development talk with Jesse Schell, CEO of Schell Games and Distinguished Professor from Carnegie Mellon University, entitled “Curiosity, Patience, and Purpose: How Big Breakthroughs Happen” on February 24 in BST S100A at 5:30pm.

Jesse Schell received his Masters of Science in Computer Networking and Virtual Reality at CMU, and joined Walt Disney Imagineering where he was a lead animator. He is now a professor at the Entertainment and Technology Center and CMU. Jesse is known for his inspirational talks on creativity in the arts and sciences and how to attain and then capitalize on success. Jesse will be speaking about his experiences as a mentor and student, as well as alternative careers in technology accessible to biomedical students.
