This month's speaker, Dr. Gerald Montano, is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Pediatrics. He earned his D.O. from the Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences, completed his residency in Pediatrics, and is currently in his fellowship in Adolescent Medicine. His current research focus is on studying how parental monitoring affects mental health outcomes in heterosexual versus sexual minority youth. Dr. Montano will be giving his talk titled "Parent-child Relationships in Sexual Minority Youth" on Wednesday, September 16th, 2015 in Room 123 BST.
