This month, we have two speakers: Dr. Elise Fouquerel from the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, and Dr. Timothy Perkins from the Department of Pathology. Dr. Fouquerel earned her Ph.D. in Cell & Molecular Biology at the University of Strasbourg, France, and her talk is entitled, “Deciphering the mechanisms of oxidative DNA damage repair at telomeres”. Dr. Perkins earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/Respiratory Medicine at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, and his talk is entitled, “The Role of the Receptor for advanced glycation end-products (RAGE) in asthma and allergic airways disease”. Their talks will take place on Monday, November 14th, 2016, in Room 123 BST.
