To Postdoc or Not to Postdoc: How to Choose Wisely

This workshop will discuss whether or not to do a postdoc -- the benefits of choosing a postdoc, as well as the critical consideration when selecting a postdoc position vs. another type of position. In addition, a host of candidate position parameters that will help you to determine the optimal environment to support your individual career success will be discussed, such as how to find opportunities to advance your own research area, as well as the importance of a good fit with a PI/Mentor and research group who will be instrumental to your career plans.
