Postdoc Lunch Live! is a forum for postdocs to practice their scientific presentation skills to an audience of fellow postdocs. These are scheduled monthly and complimentary lunch and soft drinks are provided. Sign up to

This event provides University of Pittsburgh postdoctoral fellows the opportunity to present their research to colleagues, faculty, and administrators in the form of a scientific poster session and networking dinner.
Science 201X is the University of Pittsburgh’s annual broad-based regional celebration of local science and technology. SCIENCE2012 will be held from October 4-5 in Alumni Hall and will be preceded by a UPPDA-hosted Career Symposium on October 3.
UPPDA holds an annual Fall Family Picnic open to postdocs and their families. This year's picnic will be at the Veteran's Pavillion in Schenley Park on September 20, 2012. UPPDA also periodically hosts local happy hours.
The University of Pittsburgh's Office of Academic Career Development offers many career workshops specifically designed for postdocs throughout the academic year.
