Ramanujan started as a post-doc at UPitt on March 16, 2020. In light of the recent alleviation in nationwide anxiety levels, due in part to a new administration and its dedication to the mitigation of the pandemic and in part to a quorum of people consenting to vaccination, it is imperative for the UPPDA to grasp the nettle. This association is in the business of supporting post-docs through their respective journeys, and as International Chair, Ramanujan plans to empower international post-docs to face the challenges inherent to a recovering society and world.
