The goal of the Communications Committee is to connect with and to keep all postdocs in-the-loop through our various communication channels. We generate monthly newsletters, create graphics and flyers to promote events and initiatives, and we keep an eye on the UPPDA email account to field questions and requests from the postdocs. Our committee strives to ensure that the postdoc community stays connected and engaged online with our website, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts – don’t forget to follow us! If you are social media savvy, interested in learning, or just want to get involved, you will have the ability to dabble in web design, graphic design, and marketing as part of the Communications Committee! Come join us – we are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers that are willing to help build a vibrant and well-informed postdoc community here at Pitt!
